However, the Spanish club has agreed to negotiate below € 75 million, as they have not yet offered any price. The Brazilian defender has attracted the attention of big clubs in Europe with his performances.

Liverpool wanted to sign Carlos in January, with Spanish media reporting that Jurgen Klopp was ready to break the bank to bring Diego Carlos to the team.

Klopp also identified Carlos as the main target in April, the Daily News Sport reported, adding that the All Reds wanted to see the 26-year-old as an associate of Virgil Van Dijk.

Spanish media have reported that Liverpool, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are all interested, Sevilla willing to reduce the price of Carlos to attract some big clubs.

Liverpool will not make big bids this season after their Premier League success.

However, Diego Carlos Klopp is reportedly on the shortlist following the departure of  center-back Dejan Lovren.

Speaking earlier this year, Diego Carlos discussed his future and offers from abroad.

"It is clear that coming to Sevilla was already a great success for me," he told the daily Estadio Deportivo.

“If I ever leave Sevilla I will go to a much bigger club, because Sevilla have already proven to be a great one for me. "So far, my agent has not spoken to me about the transfer.

"I am not interested in other clubs either. “I always tell him that if he wants to tell me something,

I must consider it.

He won’t tell me any stories, because I must have my head in Sevilla.

"I don't want these things to be a hindrance to me."
